A Hooded Packable Puffer for $44? Yes, Please. I usually shop at Lands End because they have maintained their sizing levels throughout the years. None of this slim fit with extra long sleeves. I want traditional sizing where winter jackets are looser because they assume some layering.I normally wear a Large from Lands End. Temporary replacement turns into permanent everyday wear I bought this jacket in an emergency when I tore open my very expensive down jacket sleeve. I was hoping it would be good enough to get me through a few cold days while I shopped around for a replacement “good” jacket. Turns out that this “cheap” jacket is way better than my old expensive one! Light years better! It’s lighter and warmer, dries quickly and the hood doubles as a neck warmer when down. Love this thing!
No complaints Excellent packable puffer coat. Not too puffy. Not too shiny. Washes well and dries quickly. Zippered pockets are a plus. Amazon Essentials jacket is $15 cheaper than Old Navy mensâ packable puffer, which lacks a hood!Only downside is that you have to store/keep the mini bag somewhere vs. packing into a self-pocket. But I guess thatâs more of a personal preference than a flaw.This jacket is not for super cold Midwest winter days, at least not by itself. Easily layers with a hoodie…
