A superb leather trench coat The delivery was fast and the price at $US299 (especially for Australia given our clothing prices) was excellent but these are not the important thing’s, are they? It’s no use getting a bargain if it just good or passable. This is not just good or passable – the quality, both in stitching and the soft and reasonably thick leather, is superb. As usual, think carefully about your size (I did; perfect fit) and what you will wear under it (maybe over-size; I was right on the cusp of one size so it was no-brainer to go one size up). The only criticism is that the cuff straps either need two more holes (at their spacing points) or begin a bit further down. And another point – the trench-coat style requires doing up the belt; getting into a car with the belt undone allows the dangling belt ends to get caught in the door and trail along the road (the soft-black “ceramic” type buckle doesn’t like road surfaces – sigh!). So pick up your “petticoats” (belt) or do it up – otherwise you will spoil…
