A true windblocker I was looking for a windblocker, and what I mean is that this garment needed to pass the “blow test”. Try to blow through it with your hand on the other side, it has to fail – you can’t blow air out of your lungs and can’t feel anything on the other side of the fabric. This test passes with flying colors. This is not wind resistant – this is wind proof!On the other hand I also did NOT want something waterproof, because from experience even the most breathable waterproof fabric does not…
Sleeves run on the shorter side. I usually wear a large and decided to get this anorak in XL so I could layer a fleece hoody under it. The Sleeves are on the shorter side and its a little tight in the waist so getting it on and off can be a little problematic. I bought a Charles River anorak at the same time in XL and that one ticks all the boxes and is easy to layer with. YMMV
Sleeves Are Ridiculously Beefy Large Jacket fits and functions great except the sleeves are EXTREMEly beefy. I mean Dwayne Johnson or John Cena would struggle to fill these in…Good for a throw away rain jacket protection from rain but the sleeves are absurdly wide.
