This is a non-breathable jacket, not good if you are going to sweat in it. This is a cheap plastic jacket with a liner. It does not wick moisture at all. After only 2 or 3 minutes of trying the jacket on I was pouring sweat because I expected it to be breathable, which it clearly is not. Perhaps I was mislead by the product description of being “moisture wicking”… perhaps it does wick moisture but it was trapped inside the jacket and would be unbearable to use for activities like hiking or jogging.

A GREAT packable/foldable rain jacket! Being that I live in the Pacific Northwest, there are those times when we get those unexpected, unreported downpours. That being said, I felt it was time to find a rain jacket which I could place in my backpack for those times.

Great raincoat/windbreaker for traveling Great raincoat/windbreaker for traveling. Packs very small and looks fairy good after being wadded up (just put some water on it and hang it up). As for the evaporation, durring one rainstorm, it had a tendancy to make me sweat and it was 60 degrees out. I have other jackets made from goretex products that do a better job but they cost at least three times what this cost and could not be in a 3”x3”x3 square.
