Best lightweight rain jacket I have worn I bought this for a fishing trip up to the Kenai River in Alaska. It rained while I was there, dugh! Bottom line is that while standing in the Kenai River in the rain, wearing this jacket while wearing sock-footed waders, I stayed dry and comfortable. I also caught the best fish while it was raining. Since this jacket rolls up so small, it is now part of my packing for even the shortest trips. The attached hood is another big plus. Now get out there and explore something.

This is a wind breaker, nothing more. I bought this as a rain jacket, assuming it would keep me dry when it rains.It does well in a light drizzle, but anything more than that and the jacket fails.For example, in a moderate rain today, I had the jacket zipped to the top with the hood pulled tight. The shoulders, upper back, and front of my shirt to the hem are saturated with rain. Great rain jacket I purchased the Columbia Glennaker Lake rain jacket several weeks past. I purchased the large size, which was recommended by the fitment chart for my height and weight (5’11”, 207 lbs). The jacket fits perfectly and keeps me dry in the rain.
