Very nice build quality The Burnett Trench Coat in 40S fits well for a guy who is 5’7″ tall and 185 lbs in weight, as long as you wear it as intended, with a suit jacket or other outerwear underneath. The overall size is very much in line with the Hamlet and Featherlite in a size Medium, or the Hartsdale in size 40R, except that they have longer arms by about 3/4″. Very nice build quality, far better than you would expect for the price. There is just way too much going on with a trench coat than I can get…
Amazing! I kept putting off purchasing this but finally did. In short order this coat has completely won me over and already is my favorite. It looks much more expensive than it is and feels great wearing it. I spent a lot of time searching for a perfect (for me) trench coat and finally have it. I even placed it in the shopping cart a few times then removed it and kept looking. I took a chance and…wow! I am very impressed and will definitely order from HSM again.
This seems like a well-made coat This seems like a well-made coat. Otherwise, the one-size-fits-all belt length was way too long! I’m not sure I want to contend with a belt made for a XX-large. Heck, I’ll probably trip over it! And, unfortunately, the coat was too large on me, even though I went by the size chart for 42 chest. Someone said you have to go large so a suit fits under it. I’ll seldom wear it over a suit, so not a factor for me.
