Why not be warm and dry with style? This is a well made coat. I live out in the boonies and though it rarely snows, the rainy season is long and heavy, and it does get quite cold. The coat is heavy and stops both wind and water, and roomy enough to wear a thick sweater or light jacket underneath. I love the style too!

VERY impressed! Love it. I’m a difficult size to fit, and most “long coats” only barely touch my knees. My old coat (custom made) was worn out… I took a chance on this one. This one is a good fit, good length, and excellent construction. I’d recommend to anyone… I’m impressed. Just a note: If you’ve never had an oiled coat, there are some items of note: The treatment oil will soak through or get on your hands… it’s normal. Damn Sturdy and Too Cool for Me I bought this as part of a costume and in that role it worked super awesome. Indeed, I really can’t wear it for anything else ’cause it’s as ostentatious and dramatic as Superman’s cape. Plus a little hot for where I live. Maybe if I moved to Wyoming, became a cowboy, and took to wearing a six guns I’d feel more comfortable wearing it all the time.That said, if you ARE a real cowboy or someone who works outside in cold, wet crummy weather all the time this is a damn good choice…
