Best Raincoat for the South! We live in the south and we get a lot of rain during the summer, but the temperature stays high. With this swampy hunidity you really want the thinnest, but most durable rain jacket you can get. We’ve tried several others in the $30- $50 price range and this one fits true to the size (in US), and is completely waterproof, lightweight and durable. As long as this raincoat is made, we would buy them again and again.

Paradox Men’s Elite Waterproof Rain Jacket is good enough to be a $130+ name brand jacket. Great quality, lightweight rain jacket. I compare it very favorably to my 2006 $130 Marmot rain jacket. Cheap, fashionable and very capable. Used for a GORUCK challenge. Abused the hell out of it and no damage. Allows for full range of motion. And didn’t cause me to over heat but kept me toasty and the wind off me. Also survived the washer and short time in the dryer. For the price, it’s a no brainier and it looks way more expensive.
