but the vendor was easy to work with and we got the coat exchanged … I had a minor problem, the first one I ordered was too small, but the vendor was easy to work with and we got the coat exchanged fairly easy. The leather is supple and the coat is as warm. I can’t speak for truly cold climates, but where i live (winters usually above 0 and below 30 F) it is more than enough to keep you warm.
I was REALLY afraid this was going to be fake leather Its REAL leather. Grain is nicer than either of my $600 recliners!The plush could be denser but is acceptable. Combined with the leather it kept me just as warm as my thinsulated wool peacoat (I’m a freeze-baby). Very happy on warmth.TWO COMPLAINTS:-no inside pockets (I like them to keep my phone in)-the overlap when buttoned up is minimal/cold air still gets in (Wisconsin winter).I plan to hand stitch in an internal pocket out of matching scrap…
No side pockets So, where do I start? The material is leather and beautiful. The inside wrap is a little carpet like but very comfortable. There is no zipper. It keeps you warm even when you are already warm but not hot and I hope it keeps me warm when it’s really cold because it’s not really cold yet . But bottom line it feels wonderful and by the way the smell goes away in two days. The bad, no side pockets.
