Excellent material. I could not be happier with my purchase. The quality on the jacket is no lie, You would think that it was from L.L.Bean or some other expensive outdoor outlet.If you’re unsure about the right size, go about 2 to 3 sizes up than your normal size. I’m 6.2 and weigh 180 and since I wear medium I decided to go with the US large.

not for heavy downpours My first test was yesterday during a heavy thunderstorm. The inside of the jacket was moist from water seeping through the fabric. I would probably be wet if I stayed longer out in the rain more than 15 minutes. I think it is good enough for light rains but not for steady downpours.
